AIR NAVIGATION FACILITY CHARGES
1.1

Basis

The charges for En-route Air Navigation facility will be assessed as flat fee based on the following classes categorized according to the Maximum Permissible Take-off Weight of the aircraft as specified by ICAO or as determined by the DGCA

Class 1      - Aircraft weighing from 5,000kg   to  90,000kg.........................-  .US$ 100.00

Class 11    - Aircraft weighing from 90,001kg   to 75,000kg......................... -   US$ 150.00

Class 111   - Aircraft weighing from 175,001kg   to 260.,000kg......................-   US$ 200.00

Class 1V    - Aircraft weighing in excess of 260,000kg  -................................-   US$250.00

Reductions

None

Exemptions.

a)     Aircraft departing from or landing at an aerodrome within the territory of Sri Lanka.

b)     Aircraft engaged in emergency, search and rescue and humanitarian purposes.

c)     Aircraft of Head of States.

d)     Military aircraft of the United States

e)       Such other aircraft as may be exempted by the DGCA.
