INVITATION FOR BIDS

FOR THE SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING, COMMISSIONING AND MAINTENANCE OF AUTOMATED BOARDER CONTROL GATE SYSTEM AT BANDARANAIKE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, KATUNAYAKE

BID NO.: 037/T/2021

Sealed Bids are invited by the Chairman, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited for the Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance of Automated Boarder Control Gate System at Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake from eligible and qualified Bidders.

Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedure.

Offers should be submitted in Bidding Documents in English Language obtainable from the official AASL Website (www.airport.lk) or the office of the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake on a cash payment of  Rupees Thirty Thousand (Rs. 30,000/-) or One Hundred and Fifty-Five United States Dollars (USD 155) through the official website being a non-refundable Bid Fee, together with an official letter of request, issued by the Bidder.

Bidding Documents will be issued between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on any working day up to 26.10.2021. Interested Bidders can inspect the Bidding Document free of charge at the same address.

Duly completed Bids should either be sent by Registered Post addressed to the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake or be deposited in the Tender Box provided for this purpose at the above address at or before 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 27th of October 2021.

Bidding will close at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 27th of October 2021 and will be opened immediately thereafter. The Bidder or his/her authorized agents could be present at the Bid opening.

An on demand Bid Security equivalent to Rupees One Million Eight Hundred Thousand (Rs. 1,800,000/-) in the form of a Bank Guarantee issued by a Bank operating in Sri Lanka approved by the Central Bank and payable to Chairman, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited should be submitted with the Offer. The Bid Security shall be valid for one hundred and eighty (180) days from the date of closing of the Bid.

A Bid briefing will be held at 10.00 a.m. on 11th October 2021 at the Conference Room, 4th. Floor, New Admin Building, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake.
