Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited wins Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2015

The Asia Best Employer Brand Awards – 6th Edition was held in Singapore last month and was hosted by Employer Branding Institute and endorsed by Asian Confederation of Businesses. Over the years the Employer Branding Institute has carefully researched the Best Employers who:

  • Create a culture of Contribution and Innovation at Work
  • Believe in Consistent improvement in HR Policy by measuring organizational health and inculcating values that help to achieve the vision.
  • Being a Social Employer and Developing a future leaders.

Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited- (AASL) was recognized by jury of senior researchers and academics as Asia Best Employer Brandas a sought after employer and a pioneering Sri Lankan public institution in Human Recourse Development. 
Ruvini Dias Bandaranayake, Executive Director of AASL received the Award on behalf of AASL on the invitation of Dr. R.L Bhatia of the World HRD Congress.

AASL is a government owned company with statutory powers to manage and develop civil airports in Sri Lanka namely Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), MattalaRajapaksa International Airport ( MRIA) and Colombo Airport Ratmalana. The consolidated turnover of the company in 2014 was Rs 13.7 Billion,BIAhandled 7.7 Mn passengers&209,417 Mt of Cargoin 2014.
