“WANA ROPA” Tree Planting Programme at Bandaranaike International Airport

In concurrent with the “WANA ROPA” National Tree Planting Programme to encourage planting of trees around the country, Architecture, Landscaping and Interior Design Division of AASL organized a tree planting programme at Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake on 20th October 2015.
As a recovery measure for the heavy number of trees which will fell inorder to leave space for the expansion project of the airport in future, AASL planted a large number of trees along the access road to the airport which shall add shade and beauty to the surroundings of the airport.
Chairman of AASL Eng. S S Ediriweera together with Vice Chairman Mr K V P Ranjith de Silva, Executive Director Mr J Jayaratne and Heads of Divisions in the Organization participated at this programme.
