New Measures to Enhance Passenger Service at BIA

The management of the Airport Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited is taking measures to introduce immediate solutions to ease the passenger congestion and to create a memorable guest experience as passengers traverse through the BIA. These measures are implemented under the direction of Hon. Prasanna Ranatunga, Minister of Tourism and Aviation and the guidance of Major General G. A. Chandrasiri, the new Chairman of AASL. As an initial step, a new traffic plan has been introduced to all airport users to ease off traffic congestion in and around the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).
In order to uplift the passenger service level at BIA, the new leadership is diligently involved in taking prompt and firm decisions in collaboration with the senior management of AASL and other security forces on daily basis.
