AASL SEWA PRANAMA 2018

The Human Resources Division of the Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited organized ‘SEWA PRANAMA – 2018’, an event dedicated to honour the valuable service of its employees. This colorful event was held on 26th June 2019 at the Arrival Terminal of BIA with the participation of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Executive Director, other Directors, Head of Divisions, representatives from the trade unions and other employees.

At the event, 77 ex-employees, comprising 70 who retired during 2018 and 7 who are deceased were honoured for their immense contribution and commitment. It was significant that most of the retired employees had completed more than 25 years of service at AASL at the time of their retirement. 

Addressing the gathering, Chairman, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited, Mr. Dammika Ranatunga emphasized the importance of the human resources at an international airport and stated that recognizing the human capital is a top priority of any company. Chairman also expressed his gratitude for the exceptional services rendered by the employees who retired in the year 2018. 

Some glittering dancing performances and enchanting musical performances of several talented employees of AASL added more colour to the event. The honoured ex-employees got the opportunity to meet some of their colleagues still in service and carried back happy memories of the event.
