REFURBISHED TERMINAL BUILDING OF COLOMBO AIRPORT RATMALANA WAS CEREMONIALLY DECLARED OPEN BY H.E.MAHINDA RAJAPAKSA

Refurbished Terminal Building, VVIP Lounge, New VIP Lounge & Airport Car Park of Colombo Airport Ratmalana was ceremonially declared open by H.E.Mahinda Rajapaksa, president of Sri Lanka, on 08th November 2013. Among those in attendance at the opening ceremony were The Hon. Minister of Civil Aviation Piyankara Jayaratna, Hon. Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation Geethanjana Gunawardena, Hon. Chief Minister of Uva Province Shasheendra Rajapaksa, Hon. MP Namal Rajapaksa, Hon MP Sajin Vass Gunawardane, Mr. Prasanna J. Wickramasuriya, Chairman of Airport & Aviation Services (SL) Ltd., Vice Chairman, the Directors and the Senior Management of AASL.
The refurbishment of the Terminal Building, VVIP / VIP lounges and parking facility completed in preparation for the upcoming Common Wealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) to be held in Colombo & future operational expansions of the Colombo Airport Ratmalana.
