Industry Interaction Forum to Ascertain Training needs…

The Civil Aviation Training Centre hosted the “Industry Interaction Forum to Ascertain Training Needs” on 4th August 2015 at its new auditorium.

This is the first instance of this event planned to be held annually.

The aim of this forum is to provide an opportunity for key players in the aviation industry to discuss and explore possibilities to synergize in meeting their individual Human Resources Development needs. Representatives of airlines, aviation training institutions, Universities, Cargo and travel industry participated at the forum.

Vice Chairman AASL, Mr Sanjeewa Wijeratne Chaired the event and Eng. Devinda Abayagunawardana, Chief Instructor Electronics Engineering CATC delivered the keynote presentation. This was followed by a lively discussion which drew a pool of suggestions as to how the CATC could serve the industry better and on how the other key industry players could assist the CATC in that endeavour.

Heads of Divisions and other senior officers of AASL were also present.
