CATC successfully completes TRAINAIR PLUS re-assessment ...

After successful completion of the re-assessment conducted in August 2015, the TRAINAIR PLUS full membership of the Civil Aviation Training Centre - Sri Lanka was renewed up to December 2018.
All TRAINAIR PLUS members are re-assessed every 3 years by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to ascertain whether the stringent standards stipulated by it are continuously being maintained by the member centres. The assessment covers a lot of ground including instructional delivery capability, Instructional design capability, facilities, documentation, record keeping and quality assurance.
CATC Sri Lanka underwent its first assessment in 2012 which gave it the status of Associate Member. With the successful development of its first STP in 2014 it became a full member.
The plaque depicting the renewed full membership was awarded to the CATC on 17th November 2015 at the TRAINAIR PLUS regional symposium held in New Delhi.
