New traffic plan around Katunayake airport to ease off traffic congestion

The Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited has implemented a new traffic plan to ease off traffic congestion in and around the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).
All arrivals and departures can enter the airport after the security inspection at the main entrance.
Road sign boards are in place to guide the how to access the arrival and departure terminals and Security personnel will also assist the airport users.
All vehicles coming from Minuwangoda and heading towards Minuwangoda can use the Katunayake - Minuwangoda road as before.
The existing entrance to the arrival terminal for vehicles arriving from Katunayake - Minuwangoda road will be closed. These vehicles too have to access the airport from the main entrance.
