Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) is ready to Bring Back Sri Lankans Stranded in Various Countries

Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) is ready, after making every possible precautionary measure, to receive the Sri Lankan students, government officials, private sector officials, and others stranded in various countries since 19th March. The plan is implemented at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with the approval of His Excellency the President, Hon. Minister of Tourism and Aviation, Health Authorities, and the government of Sri Lanka. 

Major General (Rtd.) G. A. Chandrasiri, Chairman Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited (AASL), Board of Directors, senior management and other staff along with the Hon. Minister of Tourism and Aviation had a thorough check (on 20th) on all the procedures to be adopted at the airport during the arrival process. All the Sri Lankan passengers who are brought back to the country will be sent to the quarantine centers.
