Beijing Capital Airlines now offers nonstop flights in just 7 hours, opening a golden gateway for Sri Lanka’s exporters.

Falcon Aviation (Pvt) Ltd, as the Cargo Sales Agent, highlights this breakthrough for specialized cargo such as ornamental fish and edible fish, while also providing a faster, seamless solution for general cargo.

In a latest development, China is opening its third international airport in the city of Xiong’an, which the Chinese government plans to designate as the future capital of China. Located close to Beijing, the new facility is known as Xiong’an International Airport (NXA).

The first commercial cargo shipment to Xiong’an International Airport was airlifted by Beijing Capital Airlines on flight JD488 on 21st March 2026. This shipment will be showcased at the airport’s opening ceremony for commercial cargo, underscoring the exporting capabilities of Sri Lanka’s air cargo market.

This milestone also opens new opportunities for Sri Lankan exporters to explore emerging markets in China.
