Joint Meeting on the Future Operational Plans of the Sri Lanka Airports

A joint meeting was held at the AASL Board Room with the participation of Major General (Rtd) G. A. Chandrasiri, Chairman AASL, Capt. Themiya Abeywickrama, Director General and CEO of CAASL, Mr. Upul Dharmadasa Chairman,CAASL Mr. Ashok Pathirage Chairman, SriLankan Airlines and the officials from CAASL, AASL & SriLankan Airlines to discuss the future operational plans of the airports.
The officials discussed the new health procedures, new operational prerequisites, security requirements which should be implemented at the airport against the COVID -19 global pandemic. Further, it was discussed to establish e-gates in the future to enhance the passenger experience by speeding up the boarding process.
