A technical meeting conducted by The Boeing Company on B777-9 operations at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA)
As Boeing B777-9 (Passenger) commenced production with a flight test currently underway and is scheduled to enter into service in mid-2025, a technical awareness session was conducted by The Boeing Company at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) on April 8, 2024.
The session was conducted by Mr. Richard Vaisvila, Lead Engineer of Airport Operations at Boeing Airport Operations Engineering.
Eng. Athula Galketiya, Chairman of AASL, along with senior officials from AASL and Sri Lankan Airlines, attended the awareness session.
