Ministers Visit to BIA Terminal 2 Construction Site.

Hon. Prasanna Ranatunga, Minister of Tourism and Hon. D V Chanaka, State Minister of Civil Aviation and Export Zone Development, made an inspection visit to the BIA Phase 2 Stage 2 Package A and Package B development activities. Under Package A, BIA Terminal II Development Project and related infrastructure development activities are being carried out meeting the expected targets of the project.
Major General (Rtd) G. A. Chandrasiri, Chairman AASL, Mr. Rajiv Sooriyaarachchi, Vice Chairman-AASL, Mr. Aruna Sri Warushahennedige, Director Aviation Projects, Mr. Shehan Sumanasekara, Director Operations, members of the Board of Directors of AASL, senior officials of AASL, representatives of Japan Airport Consultants, TAISEI Corporation and Project Management Unit (PMU) accompanied the field visit.
