Airport and Aviation Services donated Rs. 10 Million to support the COVID-19 pandemic treatment process of the government

Whilst taking due cognizance of the current pandemic situation and the tireless efforts of the Ministry of Health, AASL donated Rs. 10 Million for the purchase of a PCR testing machine to meet the urgent medical requirements that have arisen at the District General Hospital, Hambantota. On behalf of the Board of Directors and all employees of AASL, Major General (Rtd.) G. A. Chandrasiri, Chairman, AASL together with Mr. Rajeewasiri Sooriyaarachchi, the Vice-Chairman handed over the cheque to Hon. (Mrs.) Pavithra Devi Wanniarachchi, Minister of Health. Hon. Namal Rajapaksa, Minister of Youth & Sports, Hon. Prasanna Ranatunga, Minister of Tourism, and Hon. D V Chanaka, State Minister of Civil Aviation and Export Zone Development were also present on the occasion.
