Japan Extends Assistance to AASL

March 08, 2021

Under the "Japanese Grant Aid for the Social and Economic Development Program", the Government of Japan donated a batch of vehicles and equipment worth of Japanese Yen 295,200,000 to Fire & Rescue Services of Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited (AASL).  The donation included Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting Vehicles (02), Rescue Equipment Vehicle (01), High-Speed Craft (Speed Boat) (01), 4 x 4 Toyota Double Cabs (02), Portable Fire Pumps (03), Emergency Mobile Tent (01) and Hand-Held Metal Detectors (50).
