The 1st International Conference on Aviation Research of Airport and Aviation Services is organized by Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited in collaboration with Emerald Publishing. ICAR 2023 will provide a unique forum for aviation industry practitioners, researchers, and university students to present their scholarly contributions on contemporary aviation-related issues to disseminate and recognize their research findings. The conference's theme is 'Transforming Aviation for a Sustainable and Digitalized World'. The symposium will create an opportunity to bring your unique expertise, ideas, and perspectives. The goal of IACRS 2023 is to bring researchers, students, and practitioners together to share developments in sustainable business on a common platform. We invite all the scholars, researchers, students, and practitioners to conduct research and send research papers and extended abstracts to this symposium and the conference and make this conference a grand success.

Objectives of the Conference

The 1st International Conference on Aviation Research of Airport and Aviation Services

To open and create a platform for industry experts to bring their expertise and share with all practitioners the new innovative findings and solutions for advancing the aviation industry.

To share the knowledge with academia and industry while making available knowledge accessible through published high-quality research for a knowledge-based society.

To encourage multidisciplinary dialogues between researchers and practitioners in conjunction with different research findings and implications to uplift the aviation industry in Sri Lanka.

Opportunities For Publication & Best Paper Awards

Accepted Manuscripts will be published as conference proceedings or in peer-reviewed journals.

A cash refund of the registration fee and Awards for the best papers will be given for each track.

All the participants and presenters will be awarded a certificate of participation/presentation.

Registration

It is important to note that, as of the current juncture, the registration process for the forthcoming ICAR 2023 conference has not yet been initiated. The initiation of the registration period remains pending and is expected to be announced in due course.

It is advised that prospective participants, encompassing presenters and other attendees, maintain a vigilant watch for official notifications regarding the opening of the registration window. This proactive approach will enable interested parties to avail themselves of the registration opportunity once it becomes operational.

The stipulation requiring the registration of at least one author for each accepted paper to secure inclusion in the ICAR 2023 program and the subsequent publication within the proceedings by the Faculty of Management Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, remains applicable once the registration phase becomes active.

In conclusion, the commencement of the registration process for the ICAR 2023 conference is currently awaited. As the timing of the registration launch remains pending, prospective participants are advised to stay attentive to forthcoming announcements and updates regarding this pivotal facet of conference engagement.

It is pertinent to acknowledge a noteworthy cost consideration for authors who will be presenting multiple papers at the ICAR 2023 conference. Specifically, a cost-sharing mechanism will be implemented when an author is slated to submit more than one paper during the conference. This mechanism entails imposing a reduced charge, equivalent to half of the standard cost, to present the second and subsequent papers.

The issuance of certificates after the ICAR 2023 conference is contingent upon adherence to specific criteria warranting clarification. Certificates will exclusively be conferred upon authors who have duly completed the registration process and subsequently participated as presenters during the conference proceedings. It is imperative to emphasize that authors meeting these requisites will be eligible for certificate procurement. Furthermore, the contemporary electronic communication trend is acknowledged by emailing e-certificates and e-proceedings after the event's culmination.
