Airport & Aviation Services Sports Club continuing its success in mercantile sporting events won the mercantile services Basketball Association Semi-League 'D' Division championships. The team beat Hongkong bank 75-72 in an exciting final at the mercantile Cricket Association Courts, Colombo 7 on October 25,2010. Consequently the team is promoted to the 'C' Division earlier they beat NDB bank 52-32, lost to HSBC 59-71 and beat Standard Charted Bank 68-66 in the semi finals.
