A meeting was held at the Bandaranaike International Airport to educate the employees of Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd about the new Civil Aviation Act which was recently approved by the parliament.

At this meeting, Mr Prasanna J Wickramasuriya, Chairman, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd. briefed about the clauses include in the new act and what changes would take place in the near future to ensure a better work environment to all employees.

He also noted the importance of the second International Airport and the new opportunities it will bring to the Country. It was also noted that there will be other domestic airports developed in the country and a plan to change the Ratmalana airport into a City Airport.
